U.K's pay gap grows

The united kingdom 1% takes home 10% of the nations earnings while the poor 50% take 18% between them. The top 1 % pay has increased 3% while the poor 50% of peoples pay have decreased 1%. This information was given by the resolution  foundation thinktank.Organizations like the resolution  foundation thinktank and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development are warning that the results of this gap will not be positive. Labour Leader Ed Milliband has called for a pre-distubution policy to narrow the gap. I think this has to deal with international business because this shows where the U.K money goes toward and also it has a system kinda like America and if they don't do something about it something bad could happen.

Social media Pinterest Project

After researching social media on Pinterest, I have realized that social media is growing especially on facebook, twitter and youtube.Some trends i realized that more older people are getting involved in social media and that younger people are already there. Some advantages of social media are that alot of information is shared quicker, and probably is more accurate. Another Advantage is that it makes finding people easier and contacting people and sharing ideas quicker. Some disadvantages are that the privacy is harder to get the number of people deleting or untagging themselves from pictures have gone up 7% from 2009 to 2011. This study shows that women also kept there stuff more private then men, 19% more women have there facebook setting to private. A study shows that more younger people are using social media to get there job like 60% of engineers use social media to find their jobs. This will affect us because it shows that people need social media to help with careers. It effects me personally by making me turn more to social media to help get me a job.
